Voco Kuching by IHG Hotels to debut in 2026

One of the world’s leading hotel companies, IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) will be debuting its premium brand, Voco Hotels, in Malaysia in 2026 with 321-room Voco Kuching, joining a growing pipeline of 80 Voco hotels globally and adding to an existing 77 properties. Voco Hotels is IHG’s fastest growing premium brand, designed to stand out from the crowd with a hotel experience that is consistently thoughtful and distinct.
Voco Kuching will be IHG’s first hotel in Sarawak, marking its return to Kuching after 16 years, and will be redeveloped from independent hotel Century Hotel together with Malaysian leading real estate developer Elica Equity Sdn Bhd as part of a 12-storey mixed-use development, offering a welcoming and dynamic space that combines charm, comfort and a premium stay experience.
Located just 5 minutes away from the Kuching International Airport, the new Voco Kuching will include a swimming pool, an all-day dining and café, lounge and fitness centre as well as over 2,400 square metres of meeting spaces, including a ballroom that can accommodate 1,300 people and an array of function room options.
